Overview

Carter Myers Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join their team in Winchester, Virginia. While Subaru experience is preferred, the dealership welcomes technicians from various backgrounds who are eager to grow in a high-performing environment with a culture that prioritizes employee ownership and inclusivity.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform accurate diagnostics and repairs on various automotive systems
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and technical resources to identify and resolve issues
  • Complete factory-recommended maintenance and inspections
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
  • Communicate with service advisors regarding vehicle status and recommended repairs
  • Adhere to manufacturer and dealership repair standards and safety protocols
  • Stay current with required training and certifications
  • Keep a clean and organized work environment

Required skills

  • Minimum 2 years of professional automotive repair and diagnostic experience
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills across various makes and models
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • ASE certifications preferred but not required
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
