Overview

Silver Hill Asphalt, part of The H&K Group, is seeking an Experienced Asphalt Plant Operator to join their team in Narvon, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, detail-oriented, and a strong team player, dedicated to supporting asphalt plant operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform all work according to MSHA and H&K Safety policies
  • Operate machinery within the asphalt plant
  • Proactively learn plant functions and operations
  • Take direction from and work in a team with all other site personnel
  • Cross train to learn all jobs of the plant and substitute as necessary
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 5+ years of Plant Operator experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Ability to use appropriate PPE
  • Ability to meet physical requirements for the job
  • Experience in a quarry or outdoor industrial setting is preferred
  • MSHA or other relevant safety certification
