Job Description

Overview

H&K Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Asphalt Plant Operator for their Silver Hill Asphalt facility in Narvon, Pennsylvania. The role focuses on supporting production at the asphalt plants while ensuring safety and teamwork in operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform all work according to MSHA and H&K Safety policies
  • Operate machinery within the asphalt plant
  • Proactively learn plant functions and operations
  • Obtain knowledge to complete assigned tasks
  • Take direction from and collaborate with team members
  • Cross train to learn all jobs of the plant and substitute as necessary
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) or related experience/training
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to fit test and utilize appropriate PPE
  • Ability to meet physical requirements related to movement and lifting
  • At least 5+ years of Plant Operator experience
  • Experience working in a quarry or outdoor industrial setting (preferred)
  • MSHA or relevant safety certification (preferred)
