Job Description

Overview

One Medical is looking for an Expanded Care (Urgent Care) Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team in Washington, DC. This full-time role focuses on managing patients' acute care concerns within a primary care setting, aiming to improve healthcare delivery in an innovative environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage acute care concerns for patients in a primary care setting
  • Perform procedures including STI diagnosis and treatment, staple and suture removal, IV administration, and nebulizer treatment
  • Document physical exams, procedures, and in-office medications/prescriptions
  • Maintain current knowledge on urgent care practices and primary care topics
  • Work a flexible schedule including weekends and at least three holidays a year

Required skills

  • Experience practicing in an outpatient primary or urgent care setting for at least 2 of the last 5 years or completion o
  • State licensed in Washington, DC
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
