Troy Social Restaurant and Bar is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to join their dynamic team in Parsippany, NJ. This role offers the opportunity to showcase culinary skills in a fast-paced environment, working closely with the Head Chef and team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and execute creative menu plans
  • Ensure high food quality standards are consistently met
  • Manage food cost and inventory to optimize profitability
  • Supervise back of house operations to maintain efficiency
  • Oversee food preparation and ensure adherence to culinary standards

Required skills

  • Degree in Culinary Arts or related field
  • Experience in menu planning and development
  • Strong understanding of food cost management
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Experience in fine dining and banquet catering
  • Experience with fish and seafood preparation
  • Knowledge of catering operations
  • ServSafe certification
  • Experience in food and beverage management
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
