We are seeking a highly experienced Executive Editor to support the development of high-impact policy reports, public-facing publications, and strategic recommendations addressing historical injustices and systemic inequities. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the development, editing, and publication of policy reports and official documents • Synthesize complex research on slavery, systemic racism, and reparative justice into actionable insights • Collaborate with policymakers, researchers, and community stakeholders • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and impact across all written materials • Represent initiatives in public forums, stakeholder meetings, and community engagement efforts Ideal Candidate Profile: • Extensive experience in public policy, social justice, or reparative justice initiatives • Strong understanding of historical inequities and policy frameworks addressing systemic racism • Proven track record in editing, publishing, and producing high-level reports or government documents • Exceptional communication, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement skills • Background in government, think tanks, academia, or nonprofit leadership preferred Why This Role Matters: This is a rare opportunity to contribute to a landmark public initiative focused on addressing historical injustices and shaping future policy at a state level.
