Job Description

Overview

The Executive Director at the Ashford on Broad is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the senior living community, leading a team to ensure exceptional living conditions for seniors. This role focuses on financial management, regulatory compliance, and fostering a supportive work environment while enhancing the quality of life for residents.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee operations of the community, ensuring financial health and regulatory compliance
  • Lead a team of department leaders in nursing, culinary, sales, and maintenance
  • Develop and maintain communication with residents, families, and partners
  • Ensure quality service and resident satisfaction through excellent care and activities
  • Manage budget projections and key performance indicators
  • Ensure adequate staffing and community marketing to maintain occupancy
  • Prepare required reports for government agencies and the company

Required skills

  • Licensed Nursing Home Administrator or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's degree or 3,000 hours of direct operational responsibility in senior housing
  • 5 years of previous experience as an Executive Director in assisted living or skilled nursing
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in operational excellence
