Job Description

Overview

The Executive Director will oversee all operational aspects of hospice services at the Madison branch, which serves an average hospice census of approximately 120 patients. This role offers executive-level leadership responsibilities, a predictable Monday to Friday schedule, and significant earning potential within a stable hospice organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee regulatory compliance and financial performance
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives
  • Develop and manage the team effectively
  • Strategic planning for operational growth
  • Ensure high standards of patient care
  • Practice within the framework of a strong interdisciplinary hospice care model
  • Directly report to the Governing Body
  • Manage budgeting and strategic initiatives

Required skills

  • At least 2 years of hospice leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare Hospice Certification
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred
  • Registered Nurse license preferred
  • Proven leadership and communication skills
  • Conflict-resolution abilities
  • Experience in admissions, compliance, and team development
  • Ability to build and improve hospice operations
