Overview

The Restaurant Zone is seeking an accomplished Executive Chef for an upscale farm-to-table restaurant located in Collegeville, PA. This role involves leading the culinary program in a scratch kitchen environment while focusing on food quality, team development, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on leadership for all back-of-house culinary operations
  • Maintain exceptional standards for food quality, consistency, presentation, and execution
  • Oversee food cost, labor management, inventory, purchasing, and vendor partnerships
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop kitchen managers and culinary team members
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing kitchen culture
  • Ensure excellence in food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and operational compliance
  • Partner with culinary leadership on seasonal menu execution and ongoing menu innovation
  • Drive operational efficiency while delivering an exceptional guest experience

Required skills

  • Five or more years of Executive Chef experience in a polished full-service restaurant
  • Proven success leading high-volume scratch kitchen operations
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development experience
  • Solid understanding of food cost management, labor controls, and kitchen financial performance
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and operational management skills
  • Ability to remain calm, decisive, and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Genuine passion for hospitality, seasonal cuisine, and culinary excellence
