Overview

Sanctuary Grande is seeking an Executive Chef for their North Canton location. This role involves overseeing the Dining Services to ensure high-quality nutritional services are prepared and presented according to established standards, while fostering a family-like work environment for employees and residents.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of Dining Services.
  • Ensure food safety and cleanliness in the department.
  • Create decorative food displays and determine presentation methods.
  • Assist in planning regular and special diet menus.
  • Complete administrative requirements such as forms, reports, and evaluations.
  • Coordinate dining services with other departments.
  • Develop good working relationships with community staff.
  • Delegate authority and responsibilities to department staff.
  • Establish dining service production lines to ensure timely meal preparation.

Required skills

  • Extensive experience in fine dining supervision
  • Culinary degree from an accredited institution
  • 5 years of dietary/dining service experience in a supervisory role
  • Training in cost control and food management
  • Knowledge of diet therapy for healthcare residents
