Overview

Sanctuary Grande is seeking an Executive Chef to lead the Dining Services team in providing high-quality nutritional services while maintaining a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fine dining and a culinary degree, focusing on dietary planning and food management in a supervisory role.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and direct overall operation of Dining Services
  • Ensure quality nutritional services are provided
  • Create decorative food displays and standardize food presentation methods
  • Assist in planning menus for regular and special diets
  • Perform administrative duties including reports and evaluations
  • Coordinate dining services with other departments
  • Maintain rapport with community staff to ensure service meets resident needs
  • Enforce established policies and procedures
  • Delegate responsibilities to department staff
  • Establish production lines for timely meal preparation

Required skills

  • Culinary degree from an accredited institution
  • 5 years of supervisory dining service experience in various venues
  • Training in cost control and food management
  • Understanding of diet therapy for healthcare residents
  • Strong team leadership skills
  • Food safety and nutrition knowledge
