Key responsibilities
Plan and direct the overall operation of Dining Services
Ensure the department is clean, safe, and sanitary
Create decorative food displays and standardize work methods
Assist in planning regular and special diet menus
Complete administrative requirements including reports and evaluations
Coordinate dining services with other departments
Maintain good rapport with community staff
Delegate responsibility to department staff
Establish dining service production lines
Required skills
Culinary degree from an accredited institution
5 years of dietary/dining service experience in a supervisory capacity
Training in cost control, food management, and diet therapy
