Overview

Space of Mind is seeking an Executive Chef and Culinary Education Head Coach to lead their Culinary Arts program in Delray Beach, Florida. This multifaceted role involves preparing meals for students and staff while teaching culinary skills and promoting healthy eating within the community.

Key responsibilities

  • Create and execute a monthly healthy snack and lunch menu
  • Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and food weekly
  • Order and shop for food and supplies within budget
  • Prepare, serve, and clean up snack and lunch services
  • Accommodate special dietary needs of students and staff
  • Maintain daily kitchen sanitation
  • Mentor and manage culinary staff and their schedules
  • Teach culinary skills to schoolhouse students
  • Plan and execute menus for school events
  • Support daily operations of the schoolhouse
  • Create culinary programming for the Community Classroom Kitchen
  • Facilitate entrepreneurial culinary ventures
