Overview

Space of Mind is seeking an Executive Chef and Culinary Education Head Coach to lead their culinary program in Delray Beach, Florida. This role combines culinary creativity with education, focusing on preparing meals for students and the community while also overseeing a culinary arts program that includes teaching skills and managing community events.

Key responsibilities

  • Create and execute a monthly healthy snack and lunch menu
  • Maintain weekly inventory of kitchen supplies and food
  • Order and shop for food and supplies within budget
  • Prepare, serve, and clean up snack and lunch services
  • Accommodate special dietary needs of students and staff
  • Maintain kitchen sanitation daily
  • Mentor and manage culinary staff and schedules
  • Teach culinary skills to students
  • Plan and execute event menus for various school functions
  • Create culinary programming for the Community Classroom Kitchen
  • Facilitate culinary-related entrepreneurial ventures
