Overview

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Executive Chef 3 to lead culinary operations at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY. This role involves managing various aspects of culinary operations, including menu planning, budgeting, inventory management, and client engagement.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage daily food production for residential dining, retail, and catering
  • Ensure compliance with Sodexo Culinary Standards
  • Oversee food costing, financial controls, and departmental budgets
  • Develop creative and cost-effective menus
  • Build strong client and customer relationships
  • Lead, train, and develop culinary staff
  • Support catered events through menu planning and execution
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and allergen management
  • Utilize or learn the Sodexo Food Management System
