Overview

Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 3 to lead culinary operations at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY. The Executive Chef will manage menu planning, food production, budgeting, and client engagement while ensuring compliance with culinary standards and food safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage daily food production for residential dining, retail, and catering.
  • Ensure compliance with Sodexo Culinary Standards, including recipe adherence and food quality.
  • Oversee food costing and financial controls while adhering to budgets.
  • Develop creative, cost-effective menus and manage inventory processes.
  • Build strong client and customer relationships through active engagement.
  • Lead, train, and develop culinary staff in a positive work environment.
  • Support catered events through menu development and execution.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and special diets.
