Overview

The Executive Chef at Inn & Spa at Loretto will serve as the visionary and operational leader of the culinary program, focusing on menu design, execution, and leadership across various dining and banquet operations. This role is essential for shaping the guest experience and driving revenue through innovative culinary offerings while maintaining high standards of quality and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all culinary leaders
  • Direct all culinary operations across restaurants, banquets, catering, and in-room dining
  • Design and execute seasonal menus reflecting innovation and market trends
  • Oversee banquet culinary production for events of varying sizes
  • Ensure food is prepared and presented according to quality and brand standards
  • Manage food and labor costs, including forecasting and budgeting
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships for sourcing sustainable ingredients
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Lead daily kitchen operations including scheduling and service execution
  • Collaborate with Food & Beverage leadership on culinary strategy
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in culinary offerings

  • 5+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience in luxury environments
  • Proven experience overseeing both restaurant and banquet culinary operations
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred
  • ServSafe Certification or equivalent required
  • Able to carry, pull, push weight up to 40+ pounds
