Overview

Servicon Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced EVS Supervisor for the evening shift in Los Angeles. This role is focused on overseeing operations in a healthcare environment, ensuring compliance with infection prevention standards and maintaining a safe and clean atmosphere for patients and staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide onsite supervision of staff and communicate daily assignments
  • Model and coach team on effective use of safety equipment
  • Inspect work for compliance with cleanliness standards and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and guide employees, resolving routine employee relations issues
  • Participate in recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new employees
  • Maintain the environment in an 'inspection ready' state
  • Supervise major projects and ensure staff has necessary supplies

Required skills

  • Minimum 3 years of progressive operations supervisory experience in healthcare or environmental services
  • Ability to lead, coach, and develop teams in a fast-paced setting
  • Experience managing staffing, scheduling, and performance
  • Knowledge of hospital infection control and safety protocols
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Experience working with Unions and CBAs preferred
