Overview

Servicon Systems, Inc. is seeking an EVS Cleaner Technician II for a full-time position at a high-volume trauma hospital in Los Angeles, California. This role is crucial for maintaining patient safety and care through effective cleaning and disinfecting procedures, specifically in a healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Clean and disinfect patient rooms according to hospital standards
  • Maintain strict infection control procedures
  • Support a safe, sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors
  • Work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
  • Demonstrate knowledge of infection control and proper operation of cleaning equipment
  • Perform terminal cleanings for various contaminants
  • Conduct pressure washing in outpatient departments or operating rooms
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Fluency in English
  • 1+ years of custodial experience
  • 1+ year experience in emergency or operating rooms
  • Ability to handle emergencies under pressure
  • Knowledgeable in disposal of biohazard waste
  • Prior experience cleaning in healthcare facilities
