Overview

Fusco Personnel Inc. is seeking an Estimator with an electrical background to join a reputable company in Albany, New York. The role focuses on ensuring accuracy in project estimates to maintain profitability and project quality.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform quantity take-off using drawings and specifications.
  • Develop pricing for labor and materials on assigned projects.
  • Coordinate with Administrative Assistant for ordering Bid Documents.
  • Maintain professional relationships with subcontractors and material suppliers.
  • Identify and ensure best pricing estimates from qualified subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Expedite information and follow up with subcontractors and suppliers.

Required skills

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in construction or estimating.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Project and Excel.
  • Familiarity with modern construction industry systems such as ConEst Estimating and On Screen Take-off.
