Overview

Specialized Fire & Security Inc is looking for an Estimator to join their rapidly growing Estimating Team in Orlando, Florida. The role involves analyzing blueprints and specifications to prepare comprehensive estimates for fire protection projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Compile information needed to complete a takeoff and build a bill of materials
  • Generate proposals that clearly state the scope of work and pricing
  • Analyze blueprints, specifications, and technical documents
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment to scope, schedule, and budget
  • Build a project binder with all documentation used in the take-off

Required skills

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in estimating low voltage systems
  • Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings
  • Proficient in Bluebeam (REVU), Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Fluent in English
