Overview

Kiely Family of Companies is seeking an Estimator based in Eatontown, New Jersey. This role involves preparing bid cost estimates and managing projects for utility work in the gas, water, and sewer sectors, ensuring the successful delivery of infrastructure solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare bid cost estimates and proposals for utility work
  • Review bid documents and note requirements
  • Produce accurate estimates using HCSS Heavy Bid platform
  • Manage projects through construction while maintaining communication with clients and contractors
  • Generate RFIs for project clarification
  • Maintain organization of project information and material take offs
  • Establish priorities according to workload

Required skills

  • Experience in cost estimation and bid management
  • Five years of related experience in heavy civil construction
  • Strong knowledge of utility infrastructure construction projects
  • Proficient in HCSS Heavy Bid, HCSS Project Management Heavy Job, Timberline, and MS Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
