Overview

The Law Office of David L. Carrier, P.C. is looking for an experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join their firm in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The firm focuses on creating estate plans that protect the middle class, specializing in areas such as Trusts, Wills, Asset Protection, and Elder Law. This role emphasizes client interaction, effective communication, and a commitment to providing compassionate legal support.

Key responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to answer questions and propose estate plans
  • Handle the sales aspects of initial client meetings
  • Follow up with clients to finalize estate planning agreements
  • Review and update clients' existing estate plans
  • Maintain direct contact with clients via phone, virtual meetings, and in-person
  • Create content for marketing platforms, including writing articles and blogs

Required skills

  • Minimum 3 years of legal experience
  • Estate Planning and/or Elder Law experience preferred
  • Strong client relations and communication skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Michigan Bar membership
