The Law Office of David L. Carrier, P.C. is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join their firm in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have a passion for estate planning law and will assist clients in safeguarding their assets while providing exceptional service. The firm specializes in Estate Planning and Elder Law and is open to candidates with varying levels of experience, including those seeking part-time opportunities.

Key responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to answer questions and propose estate plans
  • Handle sales aspects during initial client meetings
  • Follow up with clients to close deals from initial meetings
  • Review and update clients' estate plans as necessary
  • Maintain direct contact with clients via phone, virtual, and in-person meetings
  • Create content for marketing platforms, including articles and blogs

Required skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Estate Planning and/or Elder Law
  • Compassionate client relations
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Confidence in engaging with clients
  • Member of the Michigan Bar
