Overview

The Surefire Group Title Division is seeking a motivated Escrow Officer to join their dynamic team in Ellicott City, Maryland. This role is designed for high-performing individuals with a passion for real estate and a desire to grow within a successful, fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and close residential and commercial title transactions from open to funding
  • Interpret and execute buyer, seller, and lender instructions
  • Order and review title commitments and clear title issues
  • Prepare title and escrow documents
  • Coordinate and conduct closings, including final disbursements and recordings
  • Provide exceptional client service to clients, agents, lenders, and partners
  • Support realtors and loan officers in their growth
  • Engage in in-house events, trainings, and business outreach
  • Build and maintain a network of real estate professionals
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations

Required skills

  • 5+ years of escrow/title experience
  • Strong understanding of the closing process
  • Relationship-building and leadership skills
  • Operational expertise with multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication with realtors and lenders
  • Tech-savvy and familiar with title software systems
  • Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
  • Notary Public certification
