Overview

The Escrow Officer at County Abstract will be part of the Surefire Group Title Division, known for its dynamic growth in the real estate title industry. This role demands a motivated, relationship-focused individual who can manage and close both residential and commercial title transactions, contributing to a high-performance culture and entrepreneurial environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and close a pipeline of residential and commercial title transactions from start to finish
  • Interpret and execute buyer, seller, and lender instructions accurately
  • Order and review title commitments, clear title issues, and prepare necessary documents
  • Coordinate and conduct seamless closings, including disbursements and recordings
  • Provide an exceptional experience for clients, agents, lenders, and partners
  • Act as a resource for realtors and loan officers, supporting their growth
  • Engage in in-house agent events and outreach to drive business
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations

Required skills

  • 5+ years of escrow/title experience
  • Strong understanding of the full closing process
  • Natural leadership and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Expertise in communication with realtors and lenders
  • Familiarity with title software systems (e.g., Qualia certification is a plus)
  • Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
  • Must be a Notary Public
