Overview

The Escrow Officer/Real Estate Closer at Collier Title Company, LLC plays a crucial role in managing the closing process of real estate transactions. This full-time position involves maintaining communication with clients, reviewing contracts, and ensuring compliance with title requirements in a high-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain professional relationship with customers
  • Provide transaction status updates to customers throughout the closing process
  • Review real estate contracts and enter title orders
  • Collect and document necessary data, including payoff orders and property taxes
  • Enter collected data into the closing system
  • Provide earnest money receipts to customers within 24 hours
  • Schedule closings and maintain the closing calendar for the Escrow Officer
  • Assist other Escrow Assistants and Client Relations Assistants as needed
  • Communicate consistently with the assigned Escrow Officer and team members
  • Ensure confidentiality of closing information

Required skills

  • 2+ years of experience as an Escrow Assistant or in Title/Escrow
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of title insurance, regulatory guidelines, and real property law
  • Experience with refinancing and HUD Settlements
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Current Kentucky Driver's License and auto insurance
