First Centennial Title Company is seeking a qualified Escrow Officer for their Carson City and Zephyr Cove offices. The role involves managing the entire escrow closing process, ensuring compliance with real estate contracts and title requirements, as well as addressing any title issues that may arise.

Key responsibilities

  • Establish new escrow accounts
  • Manage the entire real escrow closing process
  • Collaborate with the title department to resolve title issues
  • Prepare transaction documents for title insurance issuance
  • Oversee the issuance of checks, bills, and statements
  • Conduct closings with customers, realtors, and lenders
  • Assist customers with closing-related questions
  • Complete calculations for prorating taxes and interest
  • Record and file documents as required
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements
