Overview

The ERP Systems Administrator at Uplift Education will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing their new ERP system, specifically Workday. This role involves ensuring system stability, security, and functionality while supporting the Finance, Human Resources, and IT teams. A strong background in Workday implementation and administration is essential for this position.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer and configure Workday modules for optimal performance
  • Manage Workday user accounts, roles, and security groups
  • Oversee system upgrades, patches, and conduct regression testing
  • Act as a technical liaison for Workday helpdesk tickets
  • Assist with configuration of business processes and workflows
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and IT to identify and implement system improvements
  • Support reporting and dashboard development
  • Manage and troubleshoot Workday integrations with third-party systems
  • Ensure data integrity with audits and validations
  • Provide advanced user support and training for Workday users
  • Project manage IT work initiatives and provide estimates
  • Train and mentor junior staff on the Workday system
  • Escalate issues to third-party vendors when necessary

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3-5+ years of hands-on Workday system administration experience
  • Strong expertise in Workday Finance and HR modules
  • Experience with Workday reporting, calculated fields, and integrations
  • Knowledge of data privacy, compliance, and audit requirements
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Workday certifications (HCM, Security, Reporting, Integrations, Payroll)
  • Familiarity with integration tools like Workday Studio, EIB, and PECI
