Job Description

Overview

The ERP Systems Administrator at Uplift Education plays a critical role in the implementation, administration, and optimization of the Workday ERP system. This position ensures the stability, security, and functionality of the system while providing support to Finance, Human Resources, and IT stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Workday, troubleshooting, and system enhancements.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer and configure Workday modules for optimal system performance
  • Manage Workday user accounts, roles, and security groups in collaboration with HR/Finance
  • Oversee system upgrades, patches, and conduct regression testing
  • Act as a technical liaison for Workday support issues
  • Assist with configuration of workflows, notifications, and security roles in Workday
  • Support reporting and dashboard development
  • Manage and troubleshoot Workday integrations with third-party systems
  • Ensure data integrity through audits and validations
  • Provide advanced user support for system issues
  • Create training and documentation for end-users
  • Stay current on Workday features and best practices
  • Project manage IT initiatives and provide estimates
  • Conduct data backups and disaster recovery operations
  • Train and mentor junior team members
  • Coordinate with third party vendors on Workday incidents

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3-5+ years of hands-on Workday system administration experience
  • Strong expertise in Workday Finance and HR
  • Experience with Workday reporting, calculated fields, and integrations
  • Knowledge of data privacy, compliance, and audit requirements
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Workday certifications (HCM, Security, Reporting, Integrations, or Payroll)
  • Experience supporting multiple Workday modules
  • Familiarity with integration tools such as Workday Studio, EIB, and PECI
