If you want to bring modern automation and AI tools to an established, growing company, and see the impact of your work across the whole business, we'd love to talk.What You'll Do:Lead Our AI and Automation EffortsBe the internal champion for AI at Cal-Mil, finding practical ways it can save time, cut errors and improve decisions across departmentsBuild and deploy internal AI tools, such as Copilot agents, AI-assisted workflows and API-driven automationsFind manual, repetitive or error-prone processes and design automated solutions to replace themHelp colleagues at all levels of technical comfort adopt new tools with confidenceStay current on new AI and automation capabilities and recommend where they fit our businessBusiness Central Administration & SupportAct as the main internal administrator for Dynamics 365 Business Central, handling user setup, permission sets, security roles and environment managementConfigure, support and optimize workflows and related system settingsTake on customization and configuration-level development, including page and report changes, extensions and Power Platform solutionsWork as the internal counterpart to our external Business Central partner: triage issues, scope projects and hold outside resources to timelines and qualityCreate and maintain clear system documentation, configuration records and end-user training materialsEDI ManagementOwn our EDI operations end to end, including setup, mapping, monitoring and issue resolutionLead new trading partner onboarding from spec review through mapping, testing and go-liveKeep existing partner maps up to date as specifications, document types and business needs changeSystems Development, Integration & ReportingBe the company's go-to technical resource for system development requests and improvement ideasSupport integrations between Business Central, Dynamics 365 Sales and other connected systemsUse Power Automate, APIs and third-party integration platforms to connect systems and move data reliablyBuild Power BI reports, analyze the results and turn them into clear recommendations for leadershipPartner with Finance and IT on reporting and data initiativesWhat We're Looking For:3 to 5 years of experience administering or supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business CentralHands-on experience with EDI setup, mapping and trading partner onboardingReal interest in AI and automation, with hands-on experience using AI tools to solve business problemsStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the discipline to find root causesAbility to turn business requirements into practical technical solutionsClear written and verbal communication, including thorough documentation habitsHighly organized, dependable and able to juggle competing priorities without dropping detailsA self-starter with sound judgment and the confidence to make decisionsTop Skills Preferred:Business Central experience, especially system support and optimizationInsight Works and/or Lanham EDIPower BI, including report creation, analysis and recommendationsExperience building with Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform or similar AI and automation tools Company Description Cal-Mil was founded in 1965 as a family owned and operated business to create and manufacture products for the food service industry.
