The Middlesex Corporation is seeking an Equipment Operator for their Kittery, Maine location. The role involves the safe and proficient operation of heavy equipment on construction sites, emphasizing a strong commitment to safety and quality in line with the company's core values.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures, reporting accidents and incidents
  • Complete daily equipment condition reports and checklists
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on assigned equipment
  • Communicate equipment fuel status and maintenance needs to Superintendents
  • Know and respect the location of utilities within work zones

Required skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in heavy/civil construction
  • OSHA 10 certification
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to various personalities and management styles
  • Commitment to quality and professionalism
  • Problem-solving and teamwork skills
