Overview

The Equipment Engineering Technician at Koozie Group plays a vital role in maintaining plant machinery and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance. This position involves troubleshooting, repairing, and collaborating with engineering teams to implement equipment upgrades while adhering to safety protocols in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment
  • Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics on equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions or failures
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on equipment upgrades
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment performance and maintenance
  • Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment
  • Follow safety protocols and industry standards
  • Provide technical support and training to operators
  • Monitor and manage inventory of spare parts for maintenance
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Required skills

  • Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in equipment maintenance
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and automation systems
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices
  • Ability to perform calibration and alignment of equipment
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols
  • Proficient in using computer software for data entry
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
