Overview

Micron Technology is a leading innovator in memory and storage solutions, seeking a Yield Technology Equipment Engineer. This role involves working with optical, eBeam, and metrology equipment to enhance defect detection and improve the efficiency of manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop procedures to automate toolsets and resolve defect gaps
  • Collaborate with module owners to ensure recipe quality
  • Solve recipe issues identified through quality checks
  • Undertake projects to improve automation and efficiency
  • Maintain records of recipe changes and create training guides
  • Develop new inspection methods and sampling techniques
  • Align tool strategies with technology development and manufacturing sites
  • Track tool maintenance and collaborate with vendors
  • Coordinate statistical process control charts
  • Serve as a liaison between Micron engineering and vendors

Required skills

  • In-depth knowledge of semiconductor equipment and processes
