Job Description

Overview

Micron Technology is seeking motivated Equipment Engineers and Process Engineers, particularly targeting veterans and transitioning military professionals. These roles are critical in optimizing equipment and processes within the semiconductor industry, specifically in areas like CMP, Diffusion and Implant, and Photolithography.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead installation and qualification of advanced equipment in a cleanroom environment.
  • Monitor and enhance equipment performance through data analysis and preventive maintenance.
  • Collaborate with process engineers to diagnose and resolve equipment-related issues.
  • Implement project management strategies to address hardware deficiencies and improve equipment reliability.
  • Design and implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs.
  • Analyze process data using programming skills to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in production performance and stability.
  • Conduct detailed data analysis to enhance yield and efficiency.

Required skills

  • Experience in engineering or related technical positions (e.g., Electronics Technician, Machinists Mate)
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of industry experience as Equipment Owner or Process Owner
  • Knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment
  • Data analysis skills using Python, R, SQL
  • Project management skills
  • Preventive maintenance and corrective actions expertise
  • Statistical Process Control (SPC) knowledge
