Job Description Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking an experienced Environmental Services Director to join our team at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) in Charlotte, NC.This is a highly visible, senior-level leadership opportunity responsible for overseeing Environmental Services operations within a large, complex acute-care hospital environment. The Environmental Services Director will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, regulatory compliance, patient experience, and operational performance are consistently achieved.This leader will oversee a large frontline workforce and leadership team, drive accountability through operational metrics and performance data, and work closely with hospital and Aramark leadership to achieve departmental, financial, and client objectives.The ideal candidate will bring significant healthcare EVS leadership experience, experience leading large and complex operations, strong financial and analytical acumen, and a demonstrated ability to develop leaders and build high-performing teams. Success in this role requires a leader who can effectively manage competing priorities while maintaining strong client relationships in a fast-paced, high-expectation acute-care environment. Plans, controls and directs all cleaning, sanitizing and waste removal functions within a healthcare facility to meet operating and financial goals, client objectives and customer needsLeadership ? Overall ownership and accountability of operational management and financial performance of the unit ? Facilitate and support new business and retention activities ? Develop programs (facilities, custodial, energy, grounds or maintenance) to meet client and customer demands and specifications Financial Performance ? Build revenue and manage budget which includes cost controls with regard to labor, supply, and inventory ? Ensure the completion and maintenance of financial statements relative to the department ? Oversight and responsibility to deliver client and company financial targets ? Adopt all Aramark processes and systems, eliminate custom/manual reports ? Understand performance metrics, data, order and inventory trends; educate teams on key levers to improve margins Productivity ?
