Job Description

Overview

MCHC Health Centers is looking for an Environmental Services Attendant to work the evening shift from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday. This role is crucial in maintaining a clean and safe environment for both staff and patients, contributing to the overall health and safety of the clinic.

Key responsibilities

  • Clean and disinfect surfaces, including walls, windows, desktops, countertops, doorknobs, restrooms, floors, and shared equipment.
  • Remove trash and maintain common areas, conference rooms, and staff workspaces.
  • Perform light maintenance and groundskeeping tasks.
  • Ensure staff and patient safety by responding to spills, removing hazards, and reporting concerns.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to staff requests.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and privacy of patient and staff information.

Required skills

  • 1+ year of experience in a healthcare environment or similar cleaning role
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid California Driver's License
  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare environment or similar cleaning role preferred
