Overview

The Environmental Safety Officer at CoxHealth is responsible for providing leadership and support to ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards related to safety management within the physical environment. This role involves directing safety management activities, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating quality improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Direct the development and implementation of safety management activities

  • Report on the effectiveness of the Environmental Safety program to Administration and the Board
