Overview

Environmental Manager Salary Up to $144,000 PLUS Great Benefits & Paid Relocation to the Pacific Northwest Our stable client is looking for a talented Environmental professional to provide strategic leadership in Environmental, Health, and Safety. This position manages 3 plants within 1 complex with 5 direct reports. Client is known for employee relations, stability and just a great mentoring environment. Environmental Management • Oversee compliance, application, and maintenance for Air, Water, Gas, Landfill, Title V, and HSB environmental permits. • Guide staff on environmental control policies across air, water, solid, and hazardous waste media. • Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) for waste, emissions, and regulated material control. • Collect environmental field samples, investigate non-compliance events, and execute corrective action plans. • Analyze the impact of new legislation, negotiate with regulatory agencies, and support capital planning for environmental engineering solutions. • Manage a team including a Safety & Health Manager. Minimum Requirements for this Environmental Manager: • Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Engineering, Safety, or a Science discipline. • 7+ years of environmental within manufacturing, consulting, or a regulatory agency. • Proven experience with OSHA standards (HazCom, Emergency Response, Respiratory Protection), compliance inspections, and accident investigations. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and data entry systems Preferred Qualifications • Degree focused in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related science. • Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP), American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), or Professional Engineering License (PE/EIT). • Professional certifications in Soils, Hydrology, Geology, or Chemistry.
