Overview

The Environmental, Health and Safety Manager at Philips Recruiting Services is responsible for ensuring high-quality occupational health and safety services in a manufacturing plant. This role involves enforcing compliance with safety regulations, managing environmental programs, and promoting a safe work environment aimed at achieving an injury-free workplace.

Key responsibilities

  • Respect and enforce company policies and procedures
  • Serve as Environmental Management Representative for ISO 140001 EMS
  • Manage Return to Work program for Workers Compensation
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Prepare site for regulatory inspections and maintain documentation
  • Report EHS indicators and partner with engineering on SOPs
  • Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct audits
  • Investigate accidents and lead preventative initiatives
  • Advise managers on EHS matters and implement recommendations
  • Analyze site risks to improve safety and environmental practices

Required skills
