Overview

Micron Technology, a leader in memory and storage solutions, is seeking a Senior/Staff Environmental Engineer to ensure compliance with hazardous waste and RCRA regulations. This role involves technical leadership in environmental programs, safeguarding both community and environmental health during construction and operational activities.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the hazardous waste and Subpart BB regulatory program as the technical authority
  • Develop and maintain RCRA compliance systems for construction and operations
  • Prepare hazardous waste shipments, budgets, metrics, and regulatory reports
  • Support inspections, audits, and ISO 14001 conformance efforts
  • Partner with teams on compliance for air, water, stormwater, SPCC, solid waste, and other environmental programs

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related fi
  • 3 years managing environmental compliance programs
  • Strong experience with RCRA and hazardous waste management
  • Working knowledge of RCRA, CWA, CAA, CERCLA, and ISO 14001
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience leading small technical teams or multi-functional projects
  • Experience supporting regulatory inspections and external audits
  • Background in both construction and operational environmental compliance
