You'll collaborate with talented teammates, contribute your expertise, and help us deliver thoughtful, high-quality solutions for those we serve.What You'll Do Lead a diverse range of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This includes design, client contact, business development, and mentoringDevelop facility plans, master planning reports, specifications, and design drawingsLead internal and external project workshopsTake projects from concept to bid-ready documentsManage services during constructionLead construction permitting with regulatory agenciesLead scope, schedule, and fee development with project management supportCollaborate with clients and regulatory agenciesMentor multi-discipline project teamsParticipate in business developmentLead the evaluation, study, and design of water and wastewater pipelines, pump stations, and treatment systemsRequirements: You don't need to check every box to succeed here. If your experience aligns with many of the items below and you're excited about the work we do, we encourage you to apply.Bachelor's (B.S.) or master's degree (M.S.) in Environmental or Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year or graduate engineering university4+ years of similar technical experience with no less than one-year of experience in project leadershipRegistered Professional Engineer capable of registering in states within Shive-Hattery's geographical footprintExperience with detailed plans and specifications, for water and wastewater collection, distribution, pumping, and/or treatment projectsStrong verbal, computer, time management, and organizational skillsGood understanding of the multi-disciplined aspects required for delivering water-wastewater infrastructure improvementsProven technical writing and professional communication skillsDesire to mentor junior staff, as well as learn and continue professional careerMust have strong communication skillsWhat will make you stand out Ability to independently execute design tasksStrong problem-solving within defined parametersExperience coordinating with multidisciplinary teamsEffective use of tools for design validation and documentationOur Commitment to You Great work happens when you feel secure in your future, confident in your support, and trusted to grow.
