Overview

Advanced Recycling Technologies is seeking an Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to enhance the company's safety culture and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations. This role involves developing and implementing safety programs, conducting inspections, and partnering with leadership to maintain a safe work environment across various company locations.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and regulations
  • Maintain EPA and state environmental compliance
  • Conduct regular facility inspections and document findings
  • Develop and implement tailored EHS policies
  • Manage hazardous waste disposal and air quality monitoring
  • Help develop and conduct safety training programs
  • Oversee incident investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain OSHA logs and ensure timely reporting
  • Lead safety meetings and participate in toolbox talks
  • Assist with safety specifications for new equipment

Required skills

  • 5-7 years of related experience
  • First Aid certified
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Knowledge of environmental and DOT regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient in technology used in environmental inspections
