Overview

Advanced Recycling Technologies is seeking an Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager in Westport, Massachusetts. The role is focused on developing, implementing, and monitoring EHS programs to ensure compliance with relevant regulations while enhancing the company's safety culture.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with federal and local OSHA standards
  • Maintain EPA and state environmental compliance
  • Conduct and document regular facility inspections
  • Develop and implement EHS policies for operations
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards
  • Manage hazardous waste disposal and air quality monitoring
  • Develop training for safety SOPs and emergency response
  • Oversee near misses, injuries, property damage, and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain OSHA logs and ensure timely reporting of recordable events
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain records of safety audits and environmental reports
  • Lead monthly safety meetings and participate in daily toolbox talks
  • Coach employees on safe work practices
  • Prepare for and support regulatory inspections
  • Conduct inspections of all departments to identify risks
  • Ensure contractors comply with EHS rules
