Job Description

Overview

As an Entertainment Technician at Six Flags Great Adventure, you will be responsible for safely handling and operating equipment related to lighting, audio, and special effects during live shows and events. This role requires interaction with guests and team members while adhering to company policies and maintaining safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate technical equipment for live shows, ensuring smooth operation of audio, lighting, and scenic effects.
  • Prepare and maintain workspace and facilities for daily operations and special events.
  • Perform maintenance on equipment to ensure functionality and test based on departmental needs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and interact with guests according to company policies.
  • Assist with load-in and load-out tasks during events such as Fright Fest.
  • Maintain availability including weekends, early mornings, late nights, and holidays.

Required skills

  • Experience in lighting design and audio engineering.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and event technical support.
  • Customer service and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs consistently and climb a stepladder up to 16ft.
  • Equipment maintenance skills.

What the company offers
