Job Description

Overview

Ford Motor Company is looking for an Enterprise Finance Analyst to join their new BlueOval Battery Park Michigan facility. This role involves supporting various accounting activities and collaborating on financial processes to ensure compliance and efficiency in a groundbreaking manufacturing environment focused on the electrification movement.

Key responsibilities

  • Support month, quarter, and year-end close processes in accordance with GAAP
  • Develop and recommend solutions to optimize accounting efficiency
  • Review monthly financial statements and perform account reconciliations
  • Generate ad hoc reports from S4 Hana Public Cloud
  • Act as a liaison with Parent Company Central Accounting and Operations Finance
  • Track and account for Advanced Manufacturing Production Tax Credits
  • Collaborate with the Office of Tax Counsel to manage tax-related activities
  • Support start-up processes, including vendor-related tax research
  • Provide analysis for supplier contract performance reports
  • Maintain effective internal controls and financial procedures
  • Facilitate use of advanced financial tools and analyze large data sets

Required skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CFA, or CMA preferred
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
  • Proficiency in financial and accounting software, ERP systems, and MS Office
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with analytical tools like Alteryx and Power BI
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player
  • Flexibility to work across shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
