A US bank is seeking an Enterprise Architect to join its technology organization.Location: Remote - United StatesPosition Overview:The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for defining and maintaining the enterprise architecture framework, ensuring alignment between business strategy and technology solutions. This role serves as a key technical leader, providing strategic direction for technology initiatives across the organization.Key Responsibilities:Define and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, standards, and principlesCollaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into architectural solutionsEvaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential impact and value to the organizationDevelop and maintain architectural roadmaps that support business goals and technology modernizationProvide technical leadership and guidance on complex, enterprise-wide initiativesEnsure architectural decisions align with security, compliance, and regulatory requirementsLead architecture review boards and governance processesCreate and maintain architecture documentation, including reference architectures, solution designs, and technical standardsPartner with application development teams to ensure solutions adhere to architectural principlesIdentify opportunities for technology consolidation, standardization, and optimizationMentor and develop technical staff on architecture best practices and methodologiesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field10+ years of experience in technology roles with increasing responsibility5+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or solution architecture rolesStrong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, or similar)Deep understanding of modern application architectures, including microservices, APIs, and cloud-native solutionsExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Knowledge of banking systems and financial services technology preferredExcellent communication and presentation skills with ability to engage executive leadershipStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to balance strategic thinking with practical implementation considerationsPreferred Qualifications:Master's degree in related fieldEnterprise architecture certification (TOGAF, etc.)Experience in financial services or highly regulated industriesKnowledge of data architecture and analytics platformsFamiliarity with DevOps practices and modern software development methodologiesCompensation: $180000 - $203050 per year
