Job Description

Overview

The Institute of International Education (IIE) is seeking an Enterprise Applications Developer to join their Enterprise Systems Department. This role supports and enhances a suite of participant-facing systems including CRM, applicant management systems, and custom applications. The developer will focus on ensuring a seamless user experience while collaborating with various stakeholders to manage operational projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert on various business applications.
  • Resolve technical and functional issues of existing business applications.
  • Monitor and evaluate solution designs to align with the overall application roadmap.
  • Create user-friendly interfaces while ensuring accessibility and usability.
  • Lead major system enhancement initiatives including requirements gathering and testing.
  • Identify system improvements and document plans for implementation.
  • Debug code and diagnose integration issues with vendors and internal teams.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of related experience.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRM), preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), preferably Slate Technolutions.
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C-Sharp.
  • Experience in designing user interfaces with a focus on usability and accessibility.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and attention to detail.
