Overview

The Engineering Technician IV at TRAX International will perform complex data acquisition and analysis tasks related to weapons systems and munitions testing. This role is integral to ensuring the reliability and effectiveness of testing processes, operating in a collaborative environment with engineers and lower-level technicians.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform data acquisition and analysis to support weapons systems testing
  • Develop and review designs based on engineering data
  • Set up and operate test equipment and record data
  • Troubleshoot and correct equipment malfunctions
  • Compile and process engineering data, identifying inconsistencies
  • Assist in design modifications by compiling relevant data
  • Prepare test reports and document findings

Required skills

  • Associate's degree or equivalent training/experience
  • Seven years of experience as an Engineering Technician
  • Expert knowledge of test and evaluation (T&E) equipment
  • Problem-solving abilities in T&E processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Technical acumen in instrumentation and methodologies for T&E
