Overview

The Fountain Group is seeking an Engineering Technician for a client in Corning, NY. This role involves ensuring compliance with quality standards through inspections and measurements of materials, supporting manufacturing processes, and maintaining safety initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform visual inspections and measurements on incoming materials
  • Identify and report non-conformances or deviations from quality standards
  • Conduct regular inspections of production processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation
  • Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment
  • Support safety initiatives and identify health hazards

Required skills

  • Technical documentation interpretation
  • Using hand measurement tools

  • MS Office proficiency
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Metal fabrication and welding knowledge
